Mid- August Apples

Dutchess Apple:

  1. This apple comes from Russia 150 years ago  Flavor is sprightly tart, superb for pies and sauce ripens mid-August.

  1. A popular bright red, early apple that ripens in mid-August at least 3 weeks before McIntosh.  The light to creamy flesh is firm, crisp and mildly tart.  Excellent for eating, sauce or pies.
